I cant handle a brush. I love to paint with pastels. I have been in love with pastels as long as I can remember. If I paint with oil (which i enjoy most, these days) or with acrylic, I use knives. I have five of them now, steel with a wooden handle.
I paint as a expression of my emotions and the reality that I find myself in. I like colours a lot. Especially vibrant primary colours. I also love thick bold lines.
My favourite painters are Vincent van Gogh, Paul Klee and a bunch of Expressionist painters of early 1900s.
I like books and music as well.
Before I sign off, painting for me is not a mere hobby, it a source of joy and an open emotional space, which I pursue, mostly surreptitiously, but with quite a passion.
Essays in colour 
You should definately continue to use knives and not brushes. Your paintings shows a distinctive style and are very expressive. You might want to look up Munch as well because his faces has some of the same quality even though he worked very differently.
